The name of the winery comes from the fusion of two concepts: “Cantina” (cellar), the agricultural production site of wine and olive oil, and “Arte” (art). The latter, in this case, refers to the art of making wine and olive oil. Those two concepts tell you a lot about what Francesca di Nisio is striving for.
The winery, located in Chieti, Abruzzo, was born from a passion for nature that Francesca inherited from her grandmother. That passion has transformed CantinArte from a small collection of vineyards and olive orchards to a certified organic producer of honest wines and olive oils.
