The name of the winery comes from the fusion of two concepts: “Cantina” (cellar) and “Arte” (art). The latter, in this case, refers to the art of making wine and olive oil. Those two concepts tell you a lot about what Francesca di Nisio is striving for.
The winery, located in Chieti, Abruzzo, was born from a passion for nature that Francesca inherited from her grandmother. That passion has transformed CantinArte from a small collection of vineyards and olive orchards to a certified organic producer of honest wines and olive oils.
